SKETCH DESIGN COMPETITION<\/strong>
\u201cSPATIAL DEVELOPMENT VISION FOR ZUNDA PARK IN RIGA,AT DAUGAVGR\u012aVAS IELA 31\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The aim of the open sketch design competition <\/strong>is to obtain high-quality, architecturally elaborate and economically justified solutions for the spatial development vision and the intent of construction of new buildings as part of Stage 1 in Riga, at Daugavgr\u012bvas iela 31 in the territory owned by SIA \u201cDG31\u201d by means of a creative rivalry, rational use of funds and free competition between participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The task of the Competition <\/strong>is to determine the best proposal among the Sketch Designs submitted for the Competition and complying with the requirements included in the Brief and the Designing Programme, which will underlie the development of a construction design on the basis of the suggested spatial development vision and ideas for construction of new buildings as part of Stage 1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Object of the Competition:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2013  the spatial development vision for the competition territory with the master plan concept for the competition territory showing the prospective development stages of \u201cZunda Park\u201d, architectural solutions for the new building of Stage 1 at Daugavgr\u012bvas iela 31 and proposals for the improvement and landscaping of the territory;<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The schedule of the Competition <\/strong>\u2013 from July 10, 2020 unti October 12, 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Competition Jury<\/strong> \u2013 Architects and urban planners form Latvia, Lithuania and Great Britain; Representatives of the Riga City Construction Board, the Riga City Architect\u2019s Office, the Riga City Development Department and and the Organizer of the Competition \u201cSIA DG31\u201d. The total amount of the prize money of the Competition:: 42 000.00 EUR<\/p>\n\n\n\n
